Serum Institute of India also stopped the Phase 3 trials of Oxford University and AstraZeneca AZD1222 Vaccine after they got the news of the illness of study subject in Britain. Serum Institute of India partnered firm Asterzeneca got the clearance of starting the Phase-3 trails again. Serum Institute of India also resumed the Phase 3 trial of the Oxford University’s Covid-19 Vaccine.

 

Russia’s vaccine – Sputnik V

The Sinovac Biotech Ltd has done CoronaVac Vaccine’s both Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials simultaneously and passed the trials with no severe side effects at the time of the trials. After passing both the trails Sinovac Vaccine entered to its Phase 3 trials.

The Coronavirus vaccine CoronaVac successfully done the trail on people of 60 years and above and got a positive result with no severe side effects. For the phase-3 trial of CoronaVac Covid-19 vaccine about 9000 Brazilians enrolled as a volunteer which is going to be organized at Butantan Institute in Sao Paulo city, Brazil.

Sinovac Biotech Ltd has got the approval for the emergency use of Covid-19 vaccine CoronaVac in China.

 

India’s Bharat Biotech’s vaccine – Covaxin

India’s Coronavirus Vaccine Covaxin developed by Bharat Biotech Ltd has got the approval for the advancement of its Covaxin vaccine.

The Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin is in the second stage of the vaccine trial i.e. in Phase 2. For the Phase 2 trial of Covaxin about 380 participants enrolled.

Bharat Biotech Ltd has a partnership for the development of  Covaxin Covid-19 vaccine with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and National Institute of Virology (NIV).

Covaxin vaccine is developed in such a way that acts as an inactivated vaccine which is designed to trigger or to generate antibodies against Covid-19 virus.
